Here's some cool reading material for the weekend. PhotoShelter's free PDF, Film Photography in the Digital Age is an excellent primer, resource, and inspiration guide that you can download for free. (Well, for the price of an email address anyway.)
I really like what PhotoShelter did here. They begin by explaining why film continues to persist. Then they cover some cool film cameras and projects, followed by companies keeping film alive. They wrap up with three profiles of film photographers, including one of my favorites, David Burnett.
Like all PhotoShelter eBooks, the design, imagery, and text are excellent. And this is something that you can share with others when they ask you, "Why do you still shoot film?"
Get your copy today. I think you'll enjoy it.
